Reading Rainbow Bingo Reading Incentive Program K-2
Please help you child turn PURPLE. The new Reading Incentive Prorgram for students in grades K-2 is Reading Rainbow Bingo. The program is optional. However, it is a fun way to exlore literature. After your child has turned in all six bingo cards: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple they will be announced as a Purple People!
Please note: Reading Rainbow Bingo cards are issued with a return date of at least 3 weeks. However, completed signed cards will only be accepted after the date noted on the card when your child comes to the Library for Specials. At that time, the student will spin the wheel, receive a prize, and be given the next colored card in the rainbow. There is a total of 6 cards in the program. Thus, plenty of time for your reader to become a member of the Purple People. The last day to return a reading log is May 12. Students who reach PURPLE will be invited to the Purple People Party.
